Founded in 2002, SIPCO has swiftly ascended as a prominent player in the mining and exporting industry. Based in Maracaibo, Venezuela, we specialize in extracting high calorific coal, including both steam and thermal coal variants. Our coals calorific value range between 5800-7550 (Kcal). Operating out of the resource-rich region of Zulia, we are committed to leveraging our strategic location to expand our export operations and deliver superior value to our global clientele.
SIPCO conducts its mining operation at the Paso Diablo mine located in the Zulia state. This well renown mine has been functioning since 1987. Its production rate is around 8 million tons per year and its reserve is more than 1.4 billion tons. We Also own a shipping dock named“Palmarejo” Dock located also near the mine being strategic for the transport and exporting of our coal. Our loading rate is around 10,000 m/tons per day. The max air draft at our dock is 42 meters and max sailing draft is 37’ high tide, (Brackish Water)
